Morrow County School District would like to provide a brief update on the incident regarding Irrigon Junior-Senior High School.

This is the message from the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office on Monday 9/23:

School Shooting Threat in Irrigon – Suspect Arrested
A fourteen-year-old male student from Irrigon was arrested and lodged in NORCOR Juvenile Facility yesterday regarding a school shooting threat made on social media. The investigation is on-going. The Morrow County Sheriff’s Office is working in conjunction with the Morrow County Juvenile Department, the FBI and the Morrow County School District. Although there are no safety concerns at this time, there will be law enforcement presence at the school as extra precautions and to help ease any concerns.
