The Heppner TSA Chapter took on a service project of rebuilding a wheelchair ramp for a local resident. Set in motion by a local business owner wanting to help a handicapped person. She did fund raising for the materials and the Heppner TSA Chapter provided the labor. Heppner TSA has a strong history of helping in the community. They built a covered shelter and a raised garden for the Assisted Living. They are planning a covered picnic area, which they will build this spring in downtown Heppner.
Chapter Officers include: President Charles Cason, Vice-President Carson Brosnan, Secretary Ethan Holmgren, Treasurer Gibson McCurry, Reporter Caitlyn Scrivner and Sargent at Arms Hannah Palmer.
Five students along with advisor Dave Fowler will be attending the National TSA Conference this June in Atlanta Georgia. They are currently doing fundraising to help cover the cost of the trip.
